    EDE consultants can analyze requirements and develop a number of technical documents, where none existed before. This can be beneficial in areas where applications or standards have changed but lack adequate documentation to outline the process. Some examples are (but not limited to) : -

    Our Training and Education Service Deliverables can cover a full spectrum of topics and levels. All materials are created EDE consultants and can be custom built to meet the needs of each customer and their environment. Some examples of types of training materials which can be developed are : -

    • Product Specific (for New Users or Advanced Topics)
    • Customized specifically to the Customer's Environment
    • Audience Specific (i.e. Operations, End-Users, Systems Administrators, remote trading partners, etc.)
    • Train-the-trainer Training, so our Customers can train themselves

    The preference is to incorporate and encourage hands-on exercises at every opportunity in order to build the student's confidence and experience in a controlled and safe environment. This offers the class the ability to methodically work through questions, answers and explanations with no threat to production systems.

    The overall goal of IT Product-related Training is to provide the customers with the tools and knowledge necessary to allow them to be less vendor-dependent when issues arise.

    All Customer Education and Training materials are developed in Microsoft PowerPoint and delivered at the customer's location. Our instructors are experienced trainers and accomplished product integrators.

    We have a staff of consultants skilled in a variety of programming languages and Operating System Platforms, equipped to design and enhance the basic product processes and functionality by adding customized routines or Application Program Interfaces (APIs).

    Such tools can serve to assist IT Operations, IT System Administrators and Programmers, or Helpdesk personnel. These tools might allow the Customer to : -

    • Automate manual tasks;
    • Reduce human error;
    • Reduce time to execute through automation;
    • Simplify a process;
    • Or build an interface to a system or application.

  • Project Management
    Project Management

    The magnitude and scope of IT projects in most companies requires the skills of a Project Manager who can drive the project forward and ensure that all personnel concerned are working towards the same goal. Several of our consultants are experienced Project Managers who have the skill, experience, and dedication to maintain forward momentum on all project initiatives. This skill set goes beyond managing only EDE consultants but also managing across different contract entities, coupled with various internal departments.

    Project Management services include : -

    • Develop and document the project objectives, tasks, resources, responsibilities and timelines for the project.
    • Develop the project plan with tasks and deliverables, assigned resources and timelines.
    • Serve as an advisor to the customer's Project Manager/Sponsor.
    • Develop implementation strategies and plans.
    • Control project budget and scope.
    • Define the structure for on-going project management (team meetings, status reporting, and issues management/resolution).
    • Serve as the liaison between EDE Services and the customer by conducting regular and timely project status and progress reviews.
    • Publish and distribute weekly project status reports.
    • Monitor activities, tasks and progress related to each project and project deliverables.
    • Control changes to the project through the use of a change control/change tracking procedure.
    • Track successful completion of each task/deliverable.
